Fortnite Servers Down for v23.40 Release This Feb. 14
Epic Games has taken the Fortnite servers down this Feb. 14, and this is a planned outage. During this time, players will be prompted to download the v23.40 title update.

While no timeframe has been given, the server downtime connected with these patch roll out usually lasts for about a few hours, so we’re expecting players will be back playing before 6 am ET. If there are any changes to the downtime, we’ll be sure to let our readers know by updating the article.
