Ghost of Tsushima Update 2.23 Dashes Out for Matchmaking Fixes This June 27
While there’s no new content inbound for Sucker Punch Productions’ samurai action game, that hasn’t stopped the studio from releasing patches for it. Today, Ghost of Tsushima update 2.23 (PS5 version 2.023) is now available, and this once targets the Legends multiplayer mode.
Ghost of Tsushima Update 2.23 Patch Notes:
The only fix mentioned for today’s PS4, PS5 patch (sorry, PC!) by Sucker Punch Productions is:
- It includes updates that target matchmaking reliability.
The past few patches have also been released to target matchmaking and even crossplay functionality, and sometimes, stability.
At this point of the game’s lifecycle, even if the PC version just got released, we’re not expecting anything for both the single-player and multiplayer mode. That said, we are expecting a sequel announcement, which we’re hoping happens sometime this year.
Ghost of Tsushima was released back in 202 on the PS4 to critical praise. Our own review speaks highly of it, with yours truly stating, “If Ghost of Tsushima is the swan song game for the PS4, then it ends with a whirlwind of slashes, and it gives Sucker Punch the franchise it’s aiming for that stands toe to toe with the likes of God of War, Uncharted, and the rest of Sony’s impressive first-party studio games lineup.”
