God of War Ragnarok Main Story Will Take 20-25 Hours to Finish, 40-60 for Side Quests & Endgame Content

god of war ragnarok game length

Following the lift of the God of War Ragnrok review embargo today, where our spoiler-free review of the game was part of, we can now reveal just how long is Kratos and Atreus’ journey in the game is. For those just playing the story and not the side content (of which there’s a ton), God of War Ragnarok’s game length should be about 20-25 hours give or take.

Mind, this is just the story of game, as Ragnarok offers a ton of side quests to complete that will grant you new armors, mods, crafting items and more! Not to mention these side missions also have their own storylines too (not all, but most of them). There’s also the endgame stuff which we won’t talk about for obvious (spoiler-y) reasons. If you account for all that, expect around 40-60 hours of playtime, which is an insane amount of content for an action-adventure game.

If that wasn’t enough, the game has scaling difficulty settings as well, which should further add replayability to it overall.

Are you good with the God of War Ragnarok’s length to complete? Or were you expecting something a tad longer or shorter? Leave a comment below to let us know.
