GTA Online Next Update “Bottom Dollar Bounties” Arrives June 25, Here’s What to Expect

Just a few weeks ago, Rockstar Games announced that the summer update for Grand Theft Auto Online (GTA) will be out “soon.” Well, we now have a date for that, as the GTA Online next update is due for release this June 25!

Called the “Bottom Dollar Bounties,” this update brings a new vehicle, new missions and more! Read on for the info and watch the trailer to see what’s in store for gamers next week.

New Mission Synopsis:

Maude Eccles is entrusting her burning passion for justice to the next generation of bounty hunters, and looking for someone to take over Bottom Dollar Bail Enforcement, tracking down and dragging in wrongdoers from all across Los Santos and Blaine County.

Work with Maude’s daughter Jenette in GTA Online: Bottom Dollar Bounties to run down all manner of reprobate scum and claim bounties in this action-packed new update to GTA Online.

• New Law Enforcement Vehicles
• New Drift and Drag Raes in Rockstar Creator
• Experience updates

Here’s the roundup of new info confirmed incoming to GTA Online’s summer update, which we posted about previously:

New Missions:

Players will be tasked to bring in some of the most notorious criminals in Los Santos to justice — dead or alive! According to Rockstar, a “series of new missions” for Maude’s bail enforcement and bounty hunting business in Grapeseed is incoming in GTA Online’s next major update. In addition to that, “Vincent needs help enforcing his authority without official oversight — get behind the wheel of your souped-up Cruiser and conduct a range of off-the-books enforcement activities across Los Santos.”

Creator Upgrades:

Rockstar will be building on the suite of tools already available, and will add new features with the update and this includes the expansion of custom Drift Race tracks and Drag Race circuits, and new units in the all tracks.

Testing Races will also become easier, as creators can now launch tests from any chosen checkpoint, and will also have the option to race multiple rounds in Drag Races before a winner is declared. Players can also expect a range of new improvements designed to help the community create and share their amazing Races and more.

Experience Updates:

According to Rockstar, the update will feature a “number of experience improvements” based on community requests and feedback via the GTA Online feedback website.

Some of the improvements include: increased Sell Mission timer to make it easier for solo players taking on Biker and Gunrunning sales, snacks automatically replenishing when launching most missions, buffing defensive and armor capabilities for the Sparrow and Bombushka, and more.

Rockstar will also be increasing base payouts for players taking part in Open Wheel Races, Taxi Work and many Contract Missions.

GTA+ Members Perks:

Those on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S that are members of GTA+, you’ll be able to claim the new Överflöd Pipistrello (Super) for free as part of the member benefits on the day the GTA Online Summer Update launches, which is a week before it becomes available to all players.
