Halo: Campaign Evolved Can Be Played From Start to Finish in Third-Person
In just a month and a half, Master Chief will assault the Covenant once more with the release of Halo: Campaign Evolved. More than just a remaster, this re-release of the Chief’s first adventure brings new visuals, new cinematics, expanded combat and more.
For those who have already played the game before, or those who get dizzy playing first-person shooters, Halo Studios has something new for you, and that’s playing the game in third-person.
It’s not just snippets of it, as the entire game can be played in this perspective.
Check it out in action in the latest gameplay trailer for the shooter.
Halo: Campaign Evolved Third-Person Might Be the New Preferred Way to Play
The description reads, “A first look at 3rd Person gameplay from the Halo: Campaign Evolved mission, The Silent Cartographer, on a pre-release build. Enabled with the all-new “Perspective” Skull, this third-person camera angle allows players to experience iconic Halo missions like never before.”
I don’t know about you, but I might just jump in via third-person for this one.
Halo: Campaign Evolved is set for release on July 28 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The FPS title can be played solo or up to four-player online co-op with full crossplay and cross-progression support.
In related Xbox news, the division’s CEO has commented on console exclusivity, and it’s pretty apparent what they want to accomplish.
