With Halo Infinite confirmed to arrive later this year on December 8, 2021, there’s a piece of information that PC gamers will want on hand before the game’s official launch, and that is their rig can handle this monstrous new game. If you’re looking for answers, then you’ve come to the right place, as the Steam page for the game finally revealed the Halo Infinite PC requirements, both the Recommended and Minimum. Check them out below.

Minimum:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10 RS3 x64
  • Processor: AMD FX-8370 or Intel i5-4440
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD RX 570 or Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 50 GB available space

Recommended:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10 19H2 x64
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or Intel i7-9700k
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Radeon RX 5700 XT or Nvidia RTX 2070
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 50 GB available space

Surprisingly enough, it would appear that even a graphics card as old as the 1050 Ti will still be able to handle the demands of Halo Infinite. However, what’s troubling is that it lists an RTX 2070 as the actual recommended card, which is a very far cry from the former. The good news is that for PC players still struggling with exorbitant GPU pricing, if you can bear with having lower settings to meet the PC gaming minimum of 60fps then the game would be extremely playable even on something lower-end.

Halo Infinite is coming to Xbox consoles and Windows 10 PCs on December 8, 2021.
