It’s safe to say that Helldivers 2 is a bonafide success, with the game selling millions and we’re not even past its first month! While PC and PS5 owners are raining democracy, Xbox gamers are left in the lurch. This is where Halo Forge mod team The Forge Falcons come in, as the team is developing “Helljumpers” which is the studio’s take on Helldivers 2 built for Halo Infinite.
According to the announcement, the Helldivers 2 experience for Halo Infinite is being made by a team of nearly dozen forgers.

Our Helldivers 2 experience for Halo Infinite is now in active development with a team of nearly a dozen extremely talented forgers working on it.
Helljumpers is by far our most ambitious project and we intend to see it through to the fullest extent, with procedural objectives, in-game progression, upgrade systems, boss fights, extraction, drop pods and much much more.
A new flawless Halo PvE experience, is what we’re aiming for and it’s coming soon.
Prepare to step feet first into hell, Helljumper.”

This does sound exciting and the Halo franchise seems like a perfect for Helldivers 2’s theme. Could the mod team possibly pull it off? Let’s hope so.
With Helldivers 2 success, we wouldn’t be surprised to see other studios doing their own PvE take similar to it to capitalize on the craze.
