Hogwarts Legacy Breaks Twitch Single-Player Game Count With Over 1.2M Concurrent Viewers

hogwarts legacy twitch record

It looks like Avalanche Software has struck gold with Hogwarts Legacy! Not only is the game reviewing well, but it seems to have the attention of gamers, too. Over on Twitch, Hogwarts Legacy has broken the Twitch single-player game record for most concurrent viewers!

Today, the Hogwarts Legacy Twitch channel reached over 1.2 million concurrent viewers, which makes it the game with the highest concurrent viewer count of all-time!

For reference, the previous record holder was CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077, which managed to amass over 1.4 million concurrent viewers in December 2020.

This is definitely a sign that Harry Potter-themed RPG has managed to struck a chord among gamers. We’re not surprised, as our review gave it a perfect score of 10/10, where we also state, “For the last 20-plus years, I’ve dreamt about an open-world Harry Potter game that has everything you’d expect out of a Harry Potter game, and Avalanche has finally delivered on that dream. The attention to detail that has gone into this game, the love and care, and the pure dedication of the team. It all goes unnoticed.”

Are you playing or watching Hogwarts Legacy? What do you think of it so far?

Thanks, Okami!
