Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores pre-orders are now available! The announcement was made alongside a new trailer published by PlayStation. The trailer doesn’t show much, with brief gameplay footage of the DLC included in the video.

The trailer does showcase the pre-order bonuses that you get if you purchase the game ahead of its release. These include a special Blacktide dye, which resembles a dark green color, and a Blacktide sharpshot bow design for your weapon. It’s also worth mentioning that Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores will also feature the late Lance Reddick, who reprised his role as Sylens from Horizon: Zero Dawn. 

Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores aims to be even more graphically impressive than the base game thanks to its PS5 exclusivity. With the expansion not being limited by the PS4’s dated hardware, Guerrilla Games was able to add more details to lighting and other effects in Burning Shores. Along with the performance improvements that the PS5 version already sports, such as better draw distance and variable refresh rate, Burning Shores may turn out to be even more movie-like than Forbidden West.
