As part of Netflix’s TUDUM event today, Riot Games and Netflix released the official trailer for Arcane, an upcoming animated series based on the League of Legends universe that will be hitting the streaming giant’s platform on November 6.

Set in the utopian region of Piltover, and the oppressed underground of Zaun, the story follows the origins of two iconic League champions and the power that will tear them apart. Arcane will be split into three “Acts” to be released over three weeks, with the first act premiering after the League of Legends World Championship which will take place in Reykjavík, Iceland.

The first-ever League of Legends TV show was unveiled by Riot Games in 2019 as part of the game’s 10th anniversary celebration. Arcane is developed and produced by Riot Games in partnership with Fortiche Productions. It’s the newest video game series on Netflix, joining The Witcher and Pokémon.
