Like a Dragon: Ishin! Release Date Confirmed for February 21, 2023, New Trailer Revealing Characters Slices Out

Following yesterday’s reveal of Like a Dragon: Ishin, RGG Studio revealed the Like a Dragon: Ishin! release date, and it’s set for February 21, 2023! Alongside it, the studio debuted a new trailer for the game at the RGG Summit today. The new trailer is roughly six minutes long and reveals a series of new characters for the remake. Yakuza 0’s hero, Kuze can also be seen in a brand new role in the trailer.

Step into the shoes of Sakamoto Ryoma and take a first look at the cast of familiar faces that appear in Like a Dragon: Ishin!

Some of the characters featured in Like a Dragon Ishin’s ambush trailer didn’t exist in the original title when it released back in 2014. This includes Yakuza 0 characters and Koichi Adachi from Yakuza Like a Dragon, making it an “all-star” cast with everyone that has been in the Yakuza franchise. Announced at the Summit, RGG is dropping the “Yakuza” word from all its upcoming game titles.

Like a Dragon: Ishin! will launch on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC on February 21, 2023.
