For those playing Bungie’s Marathon, the game’s first planned downtime is here on March 11, as Bungie prepares the game to receive update 1.0.0.4 across all platforms.
If you can’t connect to the extraction shooter, don’t fret, as Marathon’s offline state is for planned maintenance.

When it comes to the planned changes in patch 1.0.0.4, the actual changelog hasn’t been shared yet, but we do know some of the key items being tweaked per the patch preview:
- Increased the distance objective nav points appear from 10m to 20m.
- Increased the number of Med Cabinets and Munitions Crates that can spawn on Perimeter.
- Increased the amount of starting ammo in MIDA, CyberAcme, and Arachne free Sponsored Kits.
This is a preliminary list of changes and is not the complete patch notes.
Alongside the update, LUX economy changes are on the way too, which we reported about last week.
If there are any changes to the downtime, we’ll update the article with the info. Once the patch is live, we’ll include a link to it in the article.
