Marathon Down as Servers Go Offline on April 14 for Update 1.0.6
It’s another Tuesday, and that means Bungie’s extraction shooter Marathon is getting another dose of maintenance. So for those having issues connecting to the game, don’t fret, Bungie has pulled the Marathon servers down on April 14, and this is to apply a significant game update.
Players will be unable to connect to the game’s servers for a few hours, and that’s until patch version 1.0.6 is released. Unlike previous updates, this actually brings the game up to one version, which signifies this is more than just your standard bugfix.

While we’re not expecting Marathon’s downtime to be extended, it’s not out of the question if it does, since this has happened to Bungie’s Destiny 2 servers from time to time.
If anything changes regarding the downtime, or if it gets extended, we’ll let our readers know.
Once the patch notes are out, expect a link to them within the article.
