Marvel’s Avengers released a brief cinematic featuring The Winter Soldier, the game’s latest addition to the roster. This comes only a week after his announced arrival to the initiative, and it highlights the hero’s muddled and dirty history.

In the trailer, The Winter Soldier narrates his past as Captain America’s sidekick, before being taken in by the Soviets for experimentation. He also talks about his romance with Natasha Romanoff, who eventually becomes Black Widow. 

The Winter Soldier, also known as Bucky, is a prominent character in Marvel’s works. Featured in many comics and MCU films, he’s a hero that many fans are excited to try out in-game. He is voiced by Scott Porter, who’s voiced characters in games such as Spider-Man, God of War Ragnarök, and Batman: Arkham Knight, to name a few.

Players can expect to try out The Winter Soldier in-game on November 29 as a free update to all players.
