Microsoft Issues Battlefield 4 Premium Refunds To Disgruntled Customers

In an effort to calm upset Battlefield 4 Premium subscribers across the Xbox One and Xbox 360, Microsoft has begun issuing full refunds for the Premium service.

The service, which currently costs $49.99 USD, gives players access to downloadable content two weeks early and at a discount, exclusive events like double XP weekends, exclusive customization options and a few other goodies available only to Premium members. However, those unhappy with Battlefield 4’s performance since launch are seeking refunds, which Microsoft appears to be entertaining.

Bugs, crashes, and other issues affecting the game’s performance have become so severe that developers DICE recently issued a statement indicating that progress on future projects would be halted in an effort to bring the game up to standards. Meanwhile, subscribers of the service have begun requesting refunds, and as EuroGamer points out, reports on the Battlelog are showing signs of success. Though, those who have requested a refund were unable to keep their Premium status.

It’s currently unclear if Sony or Origin offers refunds for the service as well.

Thanks, VG247.
