In a new thread posted to Twitter, modder Lance McDonald claims that he has found a way of getting P.T. working on a non-jailbroken PS5. He also posted a video supporting his claims of the game running on the standard PS5. However, the method shared by the modder is risky and complex, so if any of our readers are willing to test it out, they should do it at their own risk.
hahahahhHAHHAHA I got P.T. working on a fully updated, non-jailbroken PlayStation 5! Eat shit, Konami! This console has never been jailbroken, I was able to transfer a hacked PS4 emulator from a different jailbroken PS5 using USB backup to unlock the game on my main PS5! pic.twitter.com/fDTklXVg1n

To get P.T. playable on a non-jailbroken PS5, you need another jailbroken PS5 on standby. If you aren’t aware, the jailbreak hack for the PS5 arrived earlier this month, around two years after the console’s release.
To make it work, you need to have an account with P.T. in it, and then sign into that account onto your jailbroken PS5. Then, you’ll have to back the game up via a USB and then connect that USB to your standard PS5 to install P.T. Again, this may be dangerous and can lead to your PSN account or console getting banned, therefore you might not want to do this.
The gist of it is that you need to own P.T. legitimately on your PSN account and you need to have your PSN account activated on a jailbroken PS5 and on a normal, fully updated PS5.
