Generally, it starts by a “KYC”, Know Your Customer
– how many CoD titles I’ve owned/played. It goes all the way back to Call of Duty ’03.
– Which platform am I mainly on
– Which type of controller input I mainly used
– Also how many hours of video games I normally play
– how hours of the beta I actually played, which is interesting because I would assume they would know via backend servers.
– If I play with friends or not
– Preference on whether or not I want to play with friends
– (since I’m on PC), Multiple choice on CPU and GPU
– There was one question asking if the any streamers I watched had an effect/made me aware of the beta.. (most likely to see how effective which campaigns are…Mountain Dew bus stop vs Pokimane, lol)
Then it goes into MWII Beta gameplay questions.. usually by giving 1-6, V unsatisfied to V Satisfied, or giving a list of 10=15 things and asking you to rank your top 3.
– Asked what’s your top 3 game modes you like to play? : Everything from prop hunt, SnD, WZ, Rescue
– Asked what your top three favorite maps were
– Asked to rate “features” like the mini-map, perk packages, killstreaks, field upgrades, and perks, on a scale of 1-6.
– There was a free form/open text response basically asking what you liked and didn’t like about the beta.
– Asked what you thought of the game experience? i.e.” Network/lag”, voice chat, finding games, FPS performance, and even character dialogue, (I’m assuming this might be fore other non-english markets where they need to get things subbed)
Lastly, based on your responses. I believe the survey has some logic to ask some follow up questions..
– For me, it specially asked how I felt about the movement on MnK
– Asked me about which features were most important?: One of the responses as server tick rate which I thought was interesting/neat, G-sync compatibility again since I’m PC, steam access?
– Asked me about how my experience was downloading the game
Thats all I can remember.. I was multi-tasking when I took it lol. But imHo, the survey is actually somewhat detailed and its clear whoever wrote the survey, knows what we as gamers talk about. I mean – Server tick-rate? Maybe I’m old but I promise you as 13 yr old casual cir 2003, I didn’t know about that.
