Remember that rumor where it said that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered will see the light of day this year? Well, that rumor seems to be on-point, or at least parts of it is. It seems the Modern Warfare 2 Remastered campaign has popped up on the Korean ratings board!
While this is in no way a direct confirmation, most (if not all) games that appear there have been released, since well, why would you submit a title to the ratings board other than to release it, right?
Check out the listing below.
There’s no guarantee that we’ll see the title out this year, but don’t be surprised if we see it out before the year’s done. That said, I hope it releases with the multiplayer, though I’d understand if they released the Modern Warfare 2 Remastered campaign first (perhaps as a pre-order bonus for the alleged Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 reboot), and release the multiplayer sometime soon.
In other Call of Duty news, James C. Burns, the actor who plays Sgt. Frank Woods in the Black Ops franchise, is teasing something for tomorrow! A new rumor has also surfaced stating that the Call of Duty 2020 reveal is happening in May.
