Rumor: Call of Duty 2020 Reveal Happening in May, Not “Looking Great at the Moment”

With rumors regarding Call of Duty 2020 popping out of the woodwork, some might be wondering when the Call of Duty 2020 reveal will happen. Well, if this new rumor is to be believed, we’re going to find out more this May!

This was teased by YouTuber and reliable leaker LongSensation, where he teased this with a .gif of a chopper reminiscent of the ones used during the Vietnam War, which suggests that this year’s Call of Duty game is connected to the Black Ops series.

While the COD 2020 reveal might be set sometime in May, he also mentions how the game isn’t “looking so” great at the moment, and states that it could be delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2020 CoD isn’t looking so great atm. It’s also possible that the #coronavirus and compulsory shutdowns could cause a game delay. This doesn’t just apply to Call of Duty, but likely to a lot of games we all know and love.

Same as with any rumor, treat this with a grain of salt as it is not official. That said, LongSensation has a good track record, and even leaked the name of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 as just “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” when most assumed it would be called Modern Warfare 4.

Also of note, reliable leaker TheGamingRevolution also references LongSensation, and in some cases, have the same info, which leads me to believe that these two might have the same leaker.

Given rumors that Treyarch took over lead development duties for this year’s Call of Duty from Sledgegammer Games and Raven Software, this might be why it still looks rough around the edges currently.

Are you ready to see or hear abot the new Call of Duty game this May or are you having fun with Modern Warfare that it doesn’t really matter to you?
