Monster Hunter Rise Update 3.8.0

The review embargo for Monster Hunter Rise has officially ended giving us a look at some early impressions right before Friday’s launch. To help with finding some of those reviews, we have prepared Monster Hunter Rise reviews round up that features some of the biggest critics.

Monster Hunter Rise Review Round Up

Current MetaCritc: 85

Overall, Monster Hunter Rise seems to be scoring generally the same as past iterations. Monster Hunter Generation currently has a Metacritic of 80 (with a 8.6 user score,) with Monster Hunter World scoring in the low 90’s to high 80’s depending on which platform you look at.

When Does Monster Hunter Rise Release?

Monster Hunter Rise will be releasing this Friday, March 26, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. It will retail at $59.99 USD for both the digital and physical release.

What Platforms is Monster Hunter Rise Available On?

For now, Monster Hunter Rise will be available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch, however Capcom does have plans to bring the title to PC sometimes early in 2022. This was confirmed by IGN Japan in a interview with producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, who said that due to the high request they have decided to develop a PC release. At this time there are no plans to release it on any other console other than the Nintendo Switch. Considering that the PlayStation and Xbox have Monster Hunter World, chances are we won’t see this version of the mainline hit either platform anytime soon.

And that’s it for all the critic reviews so far! Seems like Monster Hunter Rise is gonna be yet another great entry in the Monster Hunter franchise, and we ourselves cannot wait for the release this Friday! What about you, do you have any big plans for Monster Hunter Rise this Friday? Perhaps a sick day from work? Let us know in the comments below!
