Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 1 Arrives “Early April,” Brings Gathering Hub and More
Even before it’s released, Capcom already has plans for the game’s first major update. Players won’t wait long, as just a month after launch, Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 1 will be released on all platforms in “early April,” and brings fresh new content for free.
Players will need to have finished/completed Monster Hunter Wilds in order to experience the first update’s content, Capcom has confirmed.
Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 1 Brings Player Gathering Hub
A Place to Gather!
A new place to meet, communicate, have meals together and more with other hunters will be added to Monster Hunter Wilds in TU1!
This area will be available to hunters who have completed the main story, so get hunting and be ready!
A New Level of Challenge!
Prepare your gear, and resolve, hunters! TU1 will bring with it a monster of formidable strength at a level above Tempered!
Another challenging monster will also await you!
Based on what Capcom has shared before, Title Update 1 seems to be the patch that will add Mizutsune to the monster roster. There are new event quests planned to be released alongside this as well, though the exact details haven’t been revealed.
Same as with any update, expect bug fixes, perhaps balance adjustments to be included in the patch download.
For more on Monster Hunter Wilds, check out details on the day-one update and global launch times here. Our review of it is also out, and we gave it a near-perfect score of 9/10, stating, “While there are a lot of mechanics to consider, the game’s tutorials should help most new players to quickly acclimate and join the upper ranks of hunters in no time. A full-fledged, cinematic, occasionally surreal, campaign whisks players from biome to biome, with a meaty play time of 40-50 hours just for the main story, and probably hundreds of more hours to get to 100% completion, there is plenty of content to keep hunters entertained for a while to come.”

I think my favorite feature is having support hunter a.i companions, there like pawns from Dragons Dogma. You can play solo, and have support hunter a.i companions go on hunts with you.
