Monster Hunter Rise is making its way to Xbox and PlayStation consoles next month, and it looks like the game’s going to be a little bigger in terms of file size compared to its PC version. 

According to PlayStation Game Size, Monster Hunter Rise will be around 27 GB in size for the PS4 and 26 GB for the PS5. That’s a couple of gigabytes bigger than the PC version of the game, which came in at around 23 GB.

The tweet also revealed the preload date for MH Rise. You’ll be able to download the game on your PS4 or PS5 on January 18, with the game being playable two days later on January 20. MH Rise will be a digital-only release on Xbox and PlayStation consoles, so you may want to start preloading the game ASAP if you’ve got a slow internet connection.

Monster Hunter Rise comes to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S consoles on January 20. The major “Sunbreak” expansion is set to launch sometime in Spring 2023.
