Netherrealm Studios has finally announced the beta dates for their next major title, Mortal Kombat 1. Mortal Kombat 1’s beta schedule is set for August 18 to 21, but it’ll only be available for those who pre-order the game.
The official announcement, which was made on Twitter, notes that the beta will be available for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, though it doesn’t mention PC or Nintendo Switch in the post. Alongside the date announcement, we also got a list of fighters, Kameos, and stages that will be available during the beta.
Mortal Kombat 1 Beta Schedule:
Schedule: August 18 to Aug. 21
Platforms: PS5, Xbox Series X|S
Fighters: Liu Kang, Sub-Zero, Kenshi, Kitana, Johnny Cage, and Li Mei
Kameos: Kano, Sonya, Jax, and Frost
Stages: The Teahouse & Johnny Cage’s Mansion
While it’s not a whole lot of content to work with, it should provide enough to get a feel for Mortal Kombat 1’s gameplay in a couple of days. With beta being a month away from the game’s full release, we’ll definitely be seeing more fighters, Kameos, and stages during release.
