Multiple Horizon Games in the Works, Includes Solo Game for Aloy and Online Project

Horizon Co-op Game

Fans of the Horizon series have a lot more to look forward to than the upcoming DLC for Horizon: Forbidden West. Guerrilla Games recently announced that they’re working on an “online project set in Horizon’s universe.” The announcement was made in a tweet and also listed open job positions for the upcoming Horizon co-op game.

Here’s the full list of job openings that Guerrilla is currently offering.

Of course, this doesn’t mean that the single-player Horizon games are getting shelved. In fact, the tweet also mentions that the studio will continue to make “epic solo adventures” for Aloy, confirming that she will star in future Horizon games.

The “online project” that Guerrilla Games is referring to may be related to the recent report we broke on a possible Horizon MMORPG. The game will feature a stylized look with a new cast of characters, so while it’s still set in the Horizon universe, it may not be as centered around Aloy as in previous titles.

Though we likely won’t hear much from Guerrilla on the upcoming game anytime soon, the upcoming Burning Shores DLC and VR experience in Horizon: Call of the Mountain should give fans some content while waiting. I

In the meantime, check out these interesting statistics on Horizon: Forbidden West and a couple of other games.
