Infinity Ward has released the official patch notes for the latest two Modern Warfare 3 title updates on consoles. PS3 players received patch 1.14 on May 14th, and patch 1.15 was released for Xbox 360 on May 15th.
Title Update 14 for PS3 – 27MB
- Change to matchmaking where region searched is determined by party host.
Title Update 15 for Xbox 360 – 7MB
- Change to matchmaking where region searched is determined by party host.
- Support for Elite Drops 9-12
- Support for Face Off game mode + two free maps for all
- Additional 5 Prestige levels
- Dead Silence/Sit Rep Pro functionality fix
- Rapid fire glitch fix
It was recently announced that PS3 owners can expect prestige levels 16-20 to be added in mid-June, presumably along with the free Face-Off maps and the latest Elite drops.
On a side note, double XP for Elite playlists didn’t end on Monday, and will stay turned on for a little longer. Infinity Ward stated, “We’re keeping the PS3 MW3 Elite playlists going all week with Double XP!” Meanwhile, Xbox 360 users will continue to earn double XP in the Elite playlists until May 22nd, the day Collection 2 comes out.
