The Persona series is one of the biggest and most impactful JRPG series in the entire games industry. They offer players intricate characters, fascinating storylines, and deep combat systems. Each game offers over a hundred hours of gameplay per playthrough, and now the three biggest titles in the series are coming to Xbox for the very first time.
The games in question are Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royal. Persona 3 Portable comes with newly enhanced graphics to explore its story about a hidden hour between each day where the world is drowned in shadows and monsters prowl the streets.
Persona 4 Golden sees the player trying to solve a string of mysterious murders in a small rural town with its iconic stylized graphics. This port will also feature new translations for the very first time, allowing players to experience the game in French, Italian, German, and Spanish.
Persona 5 Royal follows a student that just transferred to a new high school in Tokyo, where he takes on an alternate identity to try and save others from succumbing to their greatest sins. It also includes all of its DLC, although whether or not Persona’s spin-off titles will come to Xbox consoles remains to be seen.

Persona 5 Royal: Forced to transfer to a high school in Tokyo, the protagonist has a strange dream. “You truly are a prisoner of fate. In the near future, ruin awaits you.” With the goal of “rehabilitation” looming overhead, he must save others from distorted desires by donning the mask of a Phantom Thief.

Persona 4 Golden: They say your soulmate will appear if you stare into a television set on a rainy night… This strange rumor slowly spreads through the rural town of Inaba, the protagonist’s new home, just as a chain of mysterious murders begin. Persona 5 Royal releases on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on Game Pass on October 21. Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable does not have release dates yet.
