PlanetSide 2 Update 2.17 August 4 PS4 Patch Deployed for Fixes

Hey everyone,

We just published a small client-only hotfix that addresses the following issues:

– We believe we’ve tracked down the bug that would cause the Outfit menu to occasionally come up blank. Our QA spend quite a while attempting to repro it yesterday and were unable. If you get it to happen after this patch, please reply.

– Fixed the #2 most common client crash that has been happening for a while now. It seemed to happen most frequently when warping and/or redeploying (anything that would initiate a loading screen).

– Bastion map indicators should now orient correctly.

We are also continuing work on fixing the current quality/reliability issues with vchat and hope to have something to publish soon.
