PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection Announced, Check Out the Gorgeous Items You Won’t Be Able to Buy Due to Scalpers
Sony has announced the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection that dresses up the PS5 console, PS5 Pro, DualSense, DualSense Edge and even the PlayStation Portal in the classic grey color scheme of the original PlayStation that was released way back in 1994.
These are gorgeous items that will be sold in “highly limited supplies” which means, yep, these things will be snatched up by scalpers that will then try and sell these bad boys for 2-4x the selling price.

- PlayStation 5 Pro Console – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition BundIe
- Includes the limited edition PS5 Pro console with 2TB SSD, Wi-Fi 7 in territories supporting this standard, and matching limited edition accessories – DualSense wireless controller, DualSense Edge wireless controller, DualSense Charging Station, and a Console Cover for a Disc Drive (Disc Drive sold separately).

The PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection will be out this November 21. There will be 12,300 unites of the PS5 Pro console 30th Anniversary Edition made. with each unit including an etched limited edition number that represents the month and date of the first PlayStation console launch.
Did I mention the collection is housed in a box that’s designed to be similar to the PS1 box? Because it is and it’s really awesome as well.

In regions where direct.playstation.com* is available, players with a PlayStation Network account can pre-order the following PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection products exclusively from PlayStation starting September 26. In regions where direct.playstation.com isn’t available, pre-orders begin starting September 26 at participating retailers.

I just want to temper expectations, since this isn’t the first time Sony released something like this before. Scalpers just snatched these up and are reselling them at exorbitant prices. Hopefully, someone who truly wants the stuff do get it at their suggested retail prices, but I wouldn’t hold my breath.
