A new reference for “PlayStation PC Launcher” was found in the PC version of Spider-Man Remastered, hinting that the company is in fact working on its own PC game launcher.

The news does lineup with Sony’s recent move to launch an official webpage that is dedicated to PlayStation games available on PC. The webpage also confirms that both Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales and UNCHARTED: Legacy of Thieves Collection will make their way to PC within 2022.
PlayStation has also released several of its industry-defining games on PC within the past couple of years. This includes Horizon Zero Dawn, God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, and many more.
It’s worth noting that Sony has been vocal about its desire to bring around half of its games on PC and mobile by the year 2025. It also forecasts significant growth in games sales on PC with up to $300 million increase in revenue in the fiscal year of 2022.

VGC has also corroborated the new rumors, confirming that the PlayStation PC launcher is actually referenced in the Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered PC game files.
