PlayStation PC Trophies Confirmed; Ghost of Tsushima PC Requirements Revealed

Nixxes has revealed the upcoming Ghost of Tsushima PC requirements today ahead of the game’s May 16 launch. In the same announcement, Sony also revealed that Ghost of Tsushima will have full cross-play functionality and be the first title to feature PlayStation PC trophies support thanks to their new in-game overlay.

The PlayStation overlay will include players’ Friends list, Trophies, Settings, and Profile, and can be easily accessed by pressing SHIFT+F1 on the keyboard. This means that PlayStation trophies can now be earned in PC games that feature the PlayStation overlay! As of now, Sony hasn’t announced whether the overlay will retroactively be added to existing PC titles like God of War or the Horizon games.

Ghost of Tsushima PC will also feature full cross-play compatibility with PS4 and PS5 for its multiplayer mode, Legends. This means that players on all platforms will be able to connect and party up with each other to take on the unique Legends PvE content.

The most intriguing part of today’s post, however, is the section about the required specs, so let’s dive into those.

Ghost of Tsushima PC Requirements:

Very Low

  • Resolution and Framerate: 720P @ 30 FPS
  • CPU: Intel Core i3-7100 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 4GB or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT
  • Memory: 8GB
  • Storage: 75GB HDD space (SSD recommended)

Medium

  • Resolution and Framerate: 1080P @ 60 FPS
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-8600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT
  • Memory: 16GB
  • Storage: 75GB SSD space

High

  • Resolution and Framerate: 1440P @ 60 FPS / 4K @ 30 FPS
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-11400 or AMD Ryzen 5 5600
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800
  • Memory: 16GB
  • Storage: 75GB SSD space

Very High

  • Resolution and Framerate: 4K @ 60 FPS
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-11400 or AMD Ryzen 5 5600
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT
  • Memory: 16GB

These required specs are pretty hefty, just like PlayStation’s other PC ports, but players should still be able to enjoy the game at very low settings on pretty outdated systems. Additionally, Nixxes’ other ports have been well-optimized for Steam Deck, so it’s likely that Ghost of Tsushima will be a great game to take on-the-go if you have one.

Ghost of Tsushima launches on PC on May 16.
