For a long time, fans have been asking Nintendo to give Princess Peach her own game and they have finally listened. Princess Peach: Showtime has just been revealed at today’s Nintendo Direct, featuring the popular princess along with the theater guardian Stella as they both strive to ‘save the day.’
The game starts just as Princess Peach enters the Sparkle Theater. However, things go off-script real quick, and now it’s up to her to take on the many roles in this journey, doing whatever is required to save the play.
To get an idea of how the game will play, Nintendo has shared a small tidbit.
“Fend off the Sour Bunch with sensational swordplay as a swordfighter…en garde! In another role, Peach puts on her detective hat to find out whodunnit in a museum mystery. From kung fu master to pastry chef, Peach’s roles give you distinctly powerful ways to save the play!”
All of this sounds incredible – what other transformations will we see? We are as eager to find out as you are. Lucky for us, we will not be waiting long as Prince Peach: Showtime launches March 22, 2024 exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
