Sony has released PS5 update 22.02-06.02 this October 12, and this is another small download. Given this is an unannounced system software update, don’t expect anything major from it.

As one might expect this has nothing substantial outside of system performance, which was the same from last week’s software patch.

Given we just got a slew of new features released last month, don’t expect any new features for the console anytime soon, as Sony usually tests these things in beta first before deploying it to the general PlayStation populace. Chances are, this patch is somehow connected to the jailbreak announcement that came earlier this month.
