PSN Down Complaints Arises This December 15
Don’t look now, but it seems the PlayStation Network is acting up again, as PSN down reports are starting to come out presently, though Sony has not acknowledged the situation so far, which isn’t surprising.

Reports have also surfaced on Reddit as well.
The official AskPlayStation Twitter account has not acknowledged the downtime for now, though we’re hoping that will change soon-ish (provided this outage lasts for a long duration).
Over on Downdetector, it shows a spike in server outages at this time:
