RDR2 Update 1.19 Released, Here’s What Got Changed

Heads up, cowpokes! Rockstar Games has released Red Dead Redemption 2 update 1.19 and it’s live today on all three platforms (PS4, Xbox One, PC)! This RDR2 update 1.19 is a rather small download, and clocks in at just 620MB on PS4, 95MB on PC, 725 on the Rockstar Launcher, and 3GB on Xbox One.

No full patch notes list yet, but here are the known list of changes:

RDR2 update 1.19 changes:

Fixed several crashes that occurred during loading screens when launching the game or switching between Story Mode and Red Dead Online

Fixed several random crashes that occurred during gameplay in Story Mode and Red Dead Online

Fixed stuttering and lag issues.

Network improvements

Added stability improvements.

Various under the hood fixes

Once Rockstar Games releases the official patch notes, we’ll update the post. It seems that Rockstar updates for RDR2 are only meant for online like GTA 5, very little or nothing for story mode unfortunately, that’s how EA Sports progressively neglected gameplay improvements on Fifa since the introduction of FUT few years ago

I’ve noticed that in the blackened borders of “series” games, sometimes when I get into the out-of-bounds area, the screen isn’t just darkened like normal but can get blue and weird. The other day on a spoils of war game my horse tripped into the dark area and it seemed to turn into an infinity trip, all weird and forever, kinda fun.
