Rockstar Games has officially announced that Red Dead Redemption, including the Undead Nightmare expansion, will launch on December 2 across iOS, Android, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Mobile players can play the game for free through Netflix if they already have an active subscription, while console players can enjoy a range of next-generation enhancements.

Players on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S can look forward to smooth 60 frames per second gameplay, enhanced image quality, HDR support, and resolutions up to 4K. On Nintendo Switch 2, Rockstar has fully optimized the experience with DLSS, HDR, mouse controls, and the same 60fps performance at high resolution.

Current owners on PS4, Nintendo Switch, or the backward-compatible Xbox One version will be able to upgrade digitally for free. PS4 players can continue the story using their existing save data, while Switch 2 users can import their progress from the original console.

Meanwhile, the official store pages for the mobile versions are now live on Apple’s App Store and Google Play, both confirming that an active Netflix subscription is required to play.

Pre-registration is also open: find the game on Google Play Store here and on App Store here. On iOS devices, it requires around 3.1 GB of space and iOS 18.0 or later.

In other news, Rockstar Games has officially announced that GTA 6 will now be released in November 2026, a delay that even drew comments from a Polish parliament member.
