Report: Final Fantasy 7 Remake Demo Incoming

Regardless if you’re a big RPG fan or not, it’s hard to deny the appeal of Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 7 Remake. For most people the original release of Final Fantasy 7 was their first taste of a JRPG, which explains they hype associated with the remake. Well, notch that hype up a bit as it seems a Final Fantasy 7 Remake demo is on the way!

Website GameStat, which tracks new PlayStation Store uploads and the like, has now added a file called “Final Fantasy VII Remake Demo” and lists it as coming to America, Asia, Europe, Japan.

While this isnt an outright confirmationt that we will indeed see a Final Fantasy 7 Remake sampler, this is also how Resident Evil 3 Remake got leaked, and we know how that one turned out to be legit.

Of course, Final Fantasy 7 Remake getting a demo isn’t really that surprising and is to be expected, as Sony also wants to pull in people who haven’t played the original. With Final Fantasy 7 Remake due out in March 3, 2020, we should expect a demo to be out earlier than that, so sometime in February 2020 might be the most logical release date.
