Report: Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition Spotted on Korean Ratings Board

GTA The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition Update 1.05

Fans of Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto games may be getting their nostalgia fix real soon, as it seems that the rumored Grand Theft Auto Trilogy Remasted is indeed real! Spotted by Nibel a listing for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition has appeared on the Korea based Game Rating and Administration Committee database.

Here’s an image in case the listing gets pulled:

Per the report by Kotaku before, this compilation will house Grand Theft Auto III, GTA Vice City, and GTA San Andreas — games that were released previously on the PS2.

While we’ll just have to wait and see whether Rockstar Games will make this official, this adds fuel to the rumor that surfaced before where it mentioned that the rumored GTA Remastered Trilogy was going to be made using the Unreal Engine, and set for a holiday release. It seems the trilogy has an official name now, though no exact release date just yet.

Obviously, treat this with a gran of salt for now, but given how many games were outed by ratings board that turned out to be legit, we suspect we’ll be playing this Grand Theft Auto compilation soon.
