Resident Evil 4 Remake in “Final Spurt” of Development According to Capcom

Resident Evil 4 Update 1.11

With Resident Evil 4 remake’s release inching nearer and nearer, fans will be glad to know that the game seems to be on track to meet its March 24 launch. Based on what a Capcom dev has to say about it recently, it looks like they are putting the final touches to the survival horror remake.

In a year-end interview round up of devs by Japanese gaming mag Famitsu, Capcom’s Yoshiaki Hirabayashi, who’s acting as producer on the RE4 remake mentions in his status report that the team is working hard to provide more info about the game, and they are in the “final spurt” of development.

Here’s the statement (ran through Google Translate software):

We are working hard to provide you with more information about Resident Evil RE:4 in preparation for its release on March 24th . The game is also in the final spurt to make the team united and make it a little better. Please wait just a little longer.

This is definitely good news for fans looking forward to the remake (such as me!). Hopefully, this is a sure sign that we won’t see any delays to the game.
