Resident Evil 4 Remake Sales Now at Over 7M, Street Fighter 6 at 3.3M, Dragon’s Dogma 2 Climbs to 2.6M

Resident Evil 4 Remake Sales

Capcom has just released its quarterly financials report, and it looks like the company is doing very well with its established franchises. Topping the list includes Resident Evil 4 remake, which is now at 7.02 million units sold.

Street Fighter 6 is also faring well, as it it is now at 3.3 million units sold, which is up from last July’s two-million sales mark. That said, Capcom has publicly stated that they are looking for the game to sell 10 million units, so there’s still quite a lot of work to do there.

Capcom’s latest major entry, Dragon’s Dogma 2, is also faring well, as it is now at over 2.6 million units sold, which means it climbed 100K units in over a month’s time given the 2.5-million mark was announced back in April. According to Capcom, thanks to Dragon’s Dogma 2, it also contributed to the sales growth of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, though no figures were given.

Going back to the Resident Evil franchise, Capcom mentions that catalog title sales is now at a staggering 36.29 million units, exceeding the 29.3 million unit-mark in the same period in the previous fiscal year.

While no console sales were shared for the Monster Hunter franchise, Capcom did divulge that the Monster Hunter iOS and Android versions have now exceeded 10 million downloads.

Thanks to the publisher’s games performing well, the segment net sales of 119,841 million yen (roughly 768,815 in USD), is up 22.1% year on year.
