And keeping up with video game tradition, the company released the RE4 launch trailer, which not only helps drum up hype, but also confirms that the Resident Evil 4 remake The Mercenaries release date is now set for April 7!

The Mercenaries mode was an unlockable minigame in the original Resident Evil 4, with players gunning after enemies to earn points before an evac chopper arrives in the allotted time. No word yet on how and if this remake shakes up game mode, but once we know more, we’ll let our readers know.

While our Resident Evil 4 still isn’t up just yet (it’s a long game), it seems to be a banger, which should be of no surprise to anyone who played the previous game back then. You don’t have to take anyone’s word for it, as a demo is out now that lets you try the game for yourself.
