Resident Evil Village has just surpassed 8 million units sold!

We owe this to all of our amazing fans. Thank you so much!

This news from Capcom about Resident Evil Village follows their success with Street Fighter 6, which exceeded 1 million players in just 3 days. The Japanese publisher also announced that their games sales reached an all-time high last month, topping 41 million units shipped in a single fiscal year.

In other Resident Evil news, Capcom sent players a survey asking which title from the franchise they should remake next last week. This makes sense as Resident Evil 4 remake was an instant hit. In April, Capcom unveiled that Resident Evil 4 remake surpassed 4 million units sold in under a month, while the Resident Evil series topped 125 million.

With this new update in Resident Evil Village’s sales, it’s safe to assume that the figure has even exceeded the already impressive 125 million mark.
