Resident Evil Village PC Crack Reveals the Game Runs Better Without DRM

Resident Evil Village Update 1.102

Looks like the modding community may have discovered something of a game changer for the PC version of the latest Resident Evil game, as Resident Evil Village has a PC crack that reveals the game runs better without DRM installed.

As featured in a video by Digital Foundry, the PC version of RE Village was significantly slower on some parts — but a couple of modifiers have discovered a way to turn off the DRM and it shows that the game runs significantly faster without it.

Now bear in mind that this option is not available officially, and it’s a mod that will make the game run much better than the base version you buy. It remains to be seen if Capcom will take notice and install this option in a future update, but for now it appears that PC users will have to use the crack code method if they want RE Village to run faster in their systems like what’s seen in the video.

It’s been over two months since RE Village was released, and the game is showing no signs of slowing down its momentum as one of the best-selling titles the franchise has seen. Find out why with our review on the game, and also watch out for the future DLC Capcom has officially confirmed it is working on.

Resident Evil Village is available for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC!
