Update 2: The Black Ops II section of the official Call of Duty website has been updated with a ‘Nuketown 2025’ banner above the pre-order button. You can see the banner in the top right corner below on the navigation bar, thanks to MP1st forum user poklaan for the tip!
Also, Best Buy has released its pre-order deals for Black Ops II for this week via CAG, in addition to Nuketown 2025 pre-order bonus map, players will get a discount on the original Black Ops.
- Pre-order Call of Duty Black Ops II and get Call of Duty Black Ops for only $24.99
- Pre-order Bonus: Get the Nuketown 2025 Bonus Map for CoD Black Ops II
It’s now all but official as Canadian retailer Video Games Plus via Trendy Gamers has confirmed that Nuketown 2025 is indeed a Black Ops II’s pre-order bonus for all three platforms.
The online retailer has posted the following poster on all of Black Ops II’s product listings for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. “Pre-order Call of Duty: Black Ops II now to get the Nuketown 2025 Bonus Map.”
This comes after our report on a series of leaks that occurred yesterday. We expect official word from Treyarch and Activision on the matter in early July, perhaps as early as July 1st when GameStop reveals its second wave of pre-order bonuses for Black Ops II.
Update 1: Here’s a couple of GameStop pictures taken by AppleMan5487 via Charlie Intel. As you can see in the first picture, Nuketown 2025 is the second wave of pre-order bonuses offered at GameStop, as we predicted yesterday.
Would you have picked Nuketown to get the “2025” treatment, or would you have chosen another Black Ops map? Let us know in the comments below!
