ROCCAT’s First Wireless Keyboard, the Vulcan II Mini Air Announced; Launches This July

ROCCAT is gearing up to launch yet another new PC peripheral, this time as first, as they have revealed their first-ever wireless keyboard, the Vulcan II Mini Air. Here are the details, including exactly when you can get your hands on it.

Marketed as the company’s first wireless keyboard, the Vulcan II Mini Air is the wireless variant of the Vulcan II Mini (read our review here). It sports the same fantastic, low-profile design, shape, and compactness as its older brother, only fully wireless via a 2.4 GHz connectivity using ROCCAT’s stellar wireless technology.

But being wireless isn’t the only new thing about this keyboard, as it also features built-in proximity sensors that’ll automatically adjust the keyboard’s RGB lighting whenever you are away from it. That means more usage out of its battery, as it won’t use as much energy should you decide to step away for a bit. It boasts a rather impressive battery life too, as with the RGB lighting enabled, you’ll get a full 30 hours while disabling the RGB can give you upwards of a staggering 750 hours. Yes, you read right, 750 hours before you have to charge it again!

“ROCCAT’s Vulcan II Mini Air takes everything PC gamers love about the wired version and adds wireless portability and groundbreaking proximity sensor technology to deliver battery life that puts this mini keyboard in a category of its own,” said Juergen Stark, CEO, Turtle Beach Corporation. “With continuous use and full RGB lighting running, the Mini Air delivers over 30 hours of battery life. When the Mini Air is continuously used for five hours/day with RGB lighting disabled, thanks to its proximity sensor it has the potential to deliver a up to a whopping 750 hours until it needs to be recharged.”
