If you’ve played any Call of Duty game over the past few years, you’ve no doubt seen how Activision has implemented microtransactions into their games with the Supply Drops (read: loot box) system. It looks like the Modern Warfare microtransactions route will follow the same path, as it will be okay-ish at first, before getting worse over time.
This was divulged by reliable Modern Warfare leaker TheGamingRevolution who posted that the Modern Warfare mtx (microtransactions) system will be “decent” at first, before it gets “nasty” as time goes on.

Also of note, he also mentions that gun camos will be in Supply Drops as well as stickers, charms, etc., which should surprise no one.

Again, just a reminder to people that these are rumors and as such, should be taken with a grain of salt. That said though, it’s clear now that TheGamingRevolution does have someone from the inside feeding him info, so that’s why we’re reporting on it rather than ignoring it like the rest of the rumors floating about.
My guess? Modern Warfare will roll out with the in-game store not operational, and once after reviews are out, and players have had their fun, microtransactions will be rolled out. Let’s just hope the rumors of weapons being included in Supply Drops don’t come true.
What are you expecting in terms of Modern Warfare microtransactions? Are you optimistic it’ll be better than in Black Ops 4 or have you given up at this point?

Ugh shooters this year are really disappointing me. I really wanted to like ghost recon but I sold it after playing 24hrs. Got it $20 Off so I didn’t lose money ?. I was just so bored of it. And multiplayer was blahhhh. I know COD won’t bore me but they better not hide weapons in boxes.
That game is ugh,
probably play it for 2 months until the micro transactions get crazy and trade it in.
