Sega revealed an upcoming game in the fan-favorite Sonic franchise called Sonic Superstars at the Summer Game Fest. The announcement came along with a trailer that featured both, gameplay and non-gameplay footage.

Sonic and friends are back with an all-new look! Join Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy Rose on an adventure that takes “classic” to another level. Team up with friends, master new powers from the Chaos Emeralds, and speed through all brand-new zones on your way to take down Dr. Eggman (and co)!

The trailer shows multiple locations and ways to play while a rendition of the classic Sonic theme song plays in the background. Along with Sonic, we also get to see Tails, Knuckles, and Amy Rose.

Sonic Superstars is set to release in Fall 2023 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
