Sonic Colors Ultimate

Sega has gone way past cool and offered some pretty exciting announcements to celebrate three decades of their beloved hedgehog mascot, as Sonic The Hedgehog 30th announcements reveal new games and features — including Sonic Colors: Ultimate, Sonic Origins, and tons more!

If you missed the livestream showcase, here’s the entire Sonic Central presentation below to catch up with.

Bringing a first look at some really impressive titles coming to Sonic fans, the blue heroic hedgehog will be seeing some remasters, guest appearances, and rereleases of classic titles from the past! Sonic Colors: Ultimate will be a remaster of the 2010 video game — and it will launch for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on September 7! He’ll also be appearing in the Tokyo Olympics 2020 video game as a guest character when that title launches for consoles and PC on June 22, and a Sonic Pack will become available for Two Point Hospital on July 30th!

Additionally, Lost Judgement will have a playable version of the arcade game Sonic Fighters inside its world when the game launches on September 24! Plus Roger Craig Smith returns as the voice of Sonic, and a new animated feature called Sonic Wisps: Rise of the Wisps — which will release its first episode this summer! Later this year, Sonic fans who grew up with the classic Genesis games will be able to play them once more when Sonic Origins releases for multiple platforms. There’s a ton of stuff announced in this presentation, and fans will be definitely happy with what they see.

Now that the Sonic The Hedgehog 30th anniversary announcements for May 27 are done, we can look forward to more content soon from Sega. Stay tuned for those.
