Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League luthorcoins

If you were one of the many who joined in on Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League the moment early access went live in some regions, you probably didn’t get to play much, as the servers were quickly taken down to address a progression bug. While Rocksteady Studios previously issued an apology, those affected will be happy to learn that this apology comes with a bit of compensation…about $20 worth.

$20 Worth of Luthorcoin to Spend on Anything In-Game

As an apology to those affected by yesterday’s Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League downtime, Rocksteady Studios has sent out a message via the in-game mailbox kiosk that not only says they’re sorry but also gives you 2000 Luthorcoins.

“Thank you for being one of our first console players during early access of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. We recognize that you’ve been patient with us during our initial launch server updates and we’d like to show our appreciation for your patience with a special gift of 2000 LuthorCoins. Thank you again! -Rocksteady ”

The mailbox kiosk is located right at the exit of the Hall of Justice for those trying to find it.

What Are Luthorcoins?

For those unaware, Luthorcoins is the name given to the in-game premium currency that can be used in the shop to buy cosmetics. Cosmetics range from character skins, color patterns, banners, and emotes. You’ll also be able to purchase the battle pass with these coins. The only way to earn Luthorcoins is via tier rewards in the battle pass. Otherwise, you’ll need to spend real money from your respective platform’s storefront.

Luthorcoins are available in bundles ranging from $5 to $50. 100 Luthorcoins equals $1, so 1000 Luthorcoins would be $10. That means Rocksteady has given select players $20 worth of coins to spend as they wish.

Not a bad compensation, though those cosmetic prices are pretty high. It may be wise to save the coins up for upcoming battle passes, as it should also include cosmetics.

Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League is now available for Deluxe Edition owners. Standard editions will become available on February 2.
