Tales From The Borderlands Returns and Will be Available Digitally Starting February 17

Tales From The Borderlands

Fans of Borderlands and the Telltale style of video games are going to be pretty happy with this bit of news, as 2K and Gearbox Software have announced that Tales From The Borderlands will be returning to digital storefronts and will be available for purchase starting February 17!

Following the closure of Telltale Games in 2018, the game was sadly pulled from digital stores and became a rare commodity for fans and players who had yet to experience it. Now that has reacquire the license to distribute the game, it gets a new lease in life and will be available for a new generation of gamers — especially for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S owners who can play the PS4 and Xbox One versions via backwards compatibility.

Here’s the overview of Tales From The Borderlands from the game’s Steam page.

Tales from the Borderlands is a five-part episodic game series from the creators of The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead: A Telltale Games Series. Set on the unforgiving world of Pandora after the events seen in Borderlands 2, this is a story full of Borderlands’ trademark humor, following two adventurers on their quest for greatness.

You’ll play as Rhys, a Hyperion ‘suit’ with dreams of being the next Handsome Jack, and Fiona, a Pandoran con artist looking to score her biggest ever swindle. Thrown together as unwilling partners in an adventure to recover cash they both think is theirs, their journey will take you on a wild ride where gangsters, bandit lords, and Vault Hunters are just some of the obstacles you’ll encounter, in this new take on the award-winning universe created by Gearbox Software.

Speaking about Borderlands, Jamie Lee Curtis has joined the cast of the Borderlands live-action movie as Dr. Tannis.

Tales From The Borderlands returns to PS4, Xbox One, and PC starting February 17.
