China-based company Tencent is looking to expand its mobile games portfolio, and has announced that it plans to launch a new mobile game titled “Our Planet,” which is a sci-fi exploration game built on the Unreal Engine 4 that eerily looks quite similar to Hello Games’ No Man’s Sky.

There’s no release date set for it so far, and no word on whether it’ll come on other platforms too. If it does come to PC, PlayStation or Xbox, I can see Hello Games taking a harder look into it. This isn’t the first time Tencent is developing a product that borrows heavily into another item, as the company’s patent for a gaming console wil remind you of a Nintendo Switch very much.
